چکیده
Aim: The purpose of this review is to highlight the role epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) in tumorigenesis and assess value manipulating process cancer therapy. Method: A search was conducted for peer-reviewed articles PubMed, Google Scholar, ResearchGate employing keywords phrases. Main Points: EMT program a key driver tumor initiation progression. Inhibition carcinoma cells can yield fruitful results treatment cancer, particularly overcoming resistance chemotherapy precision drugs. Conclusion: Blocking help overcome targeted medicine.

Epithelial-mesenchymal transition and pancreatic cancer progression
Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) continues to be one of the most lethal human malignancies, with median survival of less than one year and overall 5-year survival of less than 5%. There is increasing evidence for contribution of epithelialmesenchymal transition (EMT) to pancreatic cancer metastasis and to treatment resistance. In this chapter we will review the role of EMT in pancreatic ...
متن کاملEpithelial-mesenchymal transition in prostate cancer: an overview
Prostate cancer is a main urological disease associated with significant morbidity and mortality. Radical prostatectomy and radiotherapy are potentially curative for localized prostate cancer, while androgen deprivation therapy is the initial systemic therapy for metastatic prostate disease. However, despite temporary response, most patients relapse and evolve into castration resistant cancer.E...
متن کاملCrosstalk between Tumor Cells and Immune System Leads to Epithelial-Mesenchymal Transition Induction and Breast Cancer Progression
Herein, we review the current findings of how a variety of accessory cells could participate in shaping the tumor microenvironment and supporting the mechanisms by which cancer cells undertake the epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT). EMT, a complex of phenotypic changes, promotes cancer cell invasion and creates resistance to chemotherapies. Among the accessory cells present in the EMT, imm...
متن کاملEpithelial mesenchymal transition (EMT) in prostate growth and tumor progression
Epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) and its reversal, mesenchymal-epithelial transition (MET), are essential morphological processes during development and in the regulation of stem cell pluripotency, yet these processes are also activated in pathological contexts, such as in fibrosis and cancer progression. Multi-component signaling pathways cooperate in initiation of EMT and MET programs,...
متن کاملCDKL2 promotes epithelial-mesenchymal transition and breast cancer progression
The epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) confers mesenchymal properties on epithelial cells and has been closely associated with the acquisition of aggressive traits by epithelial cancer cells. To identify novel regulators of EMT, we carried out cDNA screens that covered 500 human kinases. Subsequent characterization of candidate kinases led us to uncover cyclin-dependent kinase-like 2 (CDKL...
